A Belgian tradition of circumcision

I was born in 1954 in Belgium and I was done right after birth. It's a non religious family tradition - every man on my father's side of the family is circumcised. At school I was the odd one out. Also in the communal showers at the pool my dad, brother and I where the only ones who were circumcised. And then the girls and boys came. I was worried what they would say and what there reaction would be. but both boys and girls loved it. And my (now ex) wife insisted if we had a boy he also would get circumcised. We had 3 sons and we got them all done. And they also passed on the tradition. Since my divorce my subsequent partners have never had any complaints.
